Research Internships in Africa

If you’re looking for a research internship abroad, we have some exciting opportunities for you. If it’s a wildlife focus you’re interested in, you can join us in Victoria Falls for some exciting field research into a variety of animals, including elephants, lions, and giraffes. You’ll be based in a stunning national park by the banks of the Zambezi River, allowing for a great African adventure.

Or, if you’re looking for a research internship with a different focus area, please get in touch, and we can look at customising a program for you. We can facilitate research programs with the following focus areas;

  • Environmental Sciences, food security, urban greening, and permaculture
  • Psychology, sociology, and pedagogy
  • Visual media, photography, and visual anthropology
  • Gender equality and women’s rights
  • Communications

We will work with you to design a research internship that has your desired focus and learning outcomes. Either way, you’ll be doing your research as part of a nonprofit organisation, focusing on their cause-driven agenda. You can be based in one of the following countries; South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
