Are you passionate about community development, empowerment, and international program expansion? This Remote International Program Launch Internship offers the opportunity to join a nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black girls through mentorship, education, and advocacy. Interns will support the launch of country-specific mentorship programs, conduct research on local mentorship landscapes, and assist in outreach and engagement efforts.

By joining this Remote Project Expansion Internship, you will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, program development, and global outreach. You will be part of a collaborative remote team working to expand access to resources and leadership training opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop research, strategy, and communication skills while contributing to a mission-driven organization. This nonprofit organization empowers Black girls across the United States through mentorship, leadership training, and advocacy. By providing educational resources and personal development programs, it helps young women build confidence, develop essential skills, and create positive change in their communities. With a commitment to accessibility, the organization offers remote internships, allowing participants to contribute to impactful projects from anywhere. Interns support mentorship initiatives, outreach efforts, and leadership programs that expand opportunities for young Black girls, fostering resilience, self-expression, and career readiness.

TASKS & REQUIreMENTS

This remote internship will be tailored to match your skills and professional interests while aligning with the organization’s mission. As a Remote International Program Launch intern, you will take on responsibilities that contribute to the strategic growth of the program in different countries.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing country-specific launch plans for new mentorship programs
  • Conduct needs assessments for different regions, including the U.S., U.K., Jamaica, Kenya, and Nigeria
  • Research local funding sources, grants, and partnership opportunities
  • Support outreach efforts to increase program awareness and engagement
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of mentors and mentees
  • Develop materials and resources for program implementation
  • Track program progress and compile reports on key outcomes
  • Contribute to advocacy efforts and digital media campaigns supporting the organization’s mission
  • Monitor, facilitate, and manage the community platform management

Requirements

  • Experience with digital tools, outreach strategies, or program coordination is a plus
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Interest in mentorship, nonprofit work, and community development
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a global team
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • A certificate of completion at the end of your internship
