INTERNSHIPS IN UGANDA WITH LOCAL NGO

FOSCOD (Foundation for Sustainable Community-Based Development) is a Ugandan NGO dedicated to empowering rural communities through sustainable development. They work across renewable energy, environmental conservation, education, and community leadership programs, enabling local communities to lead their own development while building global partnerships.

Working across health, education, gender equality and environmental initiatives, FOSCOD partners with communities to give interns a hands-on experience emphasising meaningful contribution, skill development, and sustainability. From implementing community projects to presenting outcomes to stakeholders, interns at FOSCOD don’t just observe change but actively shape it, building confidence and a deeper understanding of grassroots development in real-world settings. By fostering collaboration, innovation, and community-led development, FOSCOD continues to further its mission of making a lasting impact.
