Internships with Drip by Drip eV

Founded in 2018, Drip by Drip is the first organization dedicated to tackling an important yet often overlooked niche of the climate crisis: water waste in the textile and fashion industries. Formed from a network of experts from the fields of water resources management, textiles production, and fashion design, the organization is on a mission to transform the industry and protect our natural water resources. Based in Berlin, Germany, this multinational organization already operates in Bangladesh, Kenya, and Pakistan, and they’ll be expanding to Ethiopia and Sri Lanka.

The organization takes a multi-faceted approach to this mission. To help those most affected by the issue, they fund WASH projects for communities where the textiles industry is a key source of income and drinking water is often very polluted. They run educational programs, organize art exhibitions, and run campaigns to help inform relevant stakeholders and support textile companies in becoming part of the solution. The figurehead of their work though is their corporate projects which aim to help brands and textile mills reduce their water footprint by connecting them with innovative solutions.
