Internships with Drip by Drip eV

Founded in 2018, Drip by Drip is the first organization dedicated to tackling an important yet often overlooked niche of the climate crisis: water waste in the textile and fashion industries. Formed from a network of experts from the fields of water resources management, textiles production, and fashion design, the organization is on a mission to transform the industry and protect our natural water resources. Based in Berlin, Germany, this multinational organization already operates in Bangladesh, Kenya, and Pakistan, and they’ll be expanding to Ethiopia and Sri Lanka.

The organization takes a multi-faceted approach to this mission. To help those most affected by the issue, they fund WASH projects for communities where the textiles industry is a key source of income and drinking water is often very polluted. They run educational programs for relevant stakeholders to raise awareness of the issue. The figurehead of their work though is their corporate projects which aim to help brands and textile mills reduce their water footprint by connecting them with innovative solutions.

Find out from our previous interns how internships with Drip by Drip can jumpstart your professional career and expand your soft skills.

This internship taught me the power of well-implemented certification systems in driving global change, especially within the textile industry. As an intern, I learned how to transform dense, complex research into clear, engaging content, which deepened my passion for water conservation and science communication. By turning detailed documents into accessible summaries and visuals, I developed crucial skills in presenting complex data simply—skills that will shape my future in environmental research and communication.

Impact & Water Waste Research, Remote

My hybrid internship was truly amazing, and I loved working with my host organization. My main task was investigating various projects and liaising for potential implementation. I’m particularly proud of the research I did. I've already gotten to speak about the my internship and tasks at job interviews and I'm proud of the professional skills I gained and get to share.
