Internships with Manna Project

The Manna Project operates across Latin America, currently Ecuador, working to develop disadvantaged communities and break the cycle of poverty. They take a holistic approach to community development meaning they will adapt to provide education programs, health systems, employable skills training, economic uplift, or anything else a community needs. They’ve been operating in these regions since 2004 and their projects now serve more than 3000 community members around Latin America.

One key element of Manna is the focus they place on fostering a community of young, talented social advocates among their interns and volunteers. Their mantra is ‘communities serving communities.’ They hope that among the alumni of their projects is the next generation of social change agents.
