My dedication during my three month internship was fueled by the everyday love and appreciation received in the townships of Cape Town. The experience also evoked a sense of responsibility towards new short-term volunteer members that came in to join the dedicated team I was part of. Working on-site of the nonprofit projects was a massive source of inspiration and motivation that carried me through my internship experience.
