Purpose-driven Internships with Supreme Malawi

Based in Malawi, Supreme is a social enterprise that provides access to sustainable sanitary pads and engages in menstrual hygiene education in local communities. Their mission is to allow underserved girls and women to have safe and dignified periods, which in turn enables them to participate in society fully during this time. The impact of Supreme’s work is manifold: not only does it increase the accessibility of menstrual products to girls and women, it also tackles the taboo and cultural restrictions surrounding menstruation which deny girls and women many important aspects of social and cultural life, such as school and work.

Through their nonprofit arm, Supreme also runs educational programs in rural communities in Northern Malawi. On top of this, the organization reinvests 100% of their profit back into their business, supporting the local economy in the process by employing local people.
